My husband Yves has returned to Liberia, and this is very important to the Ministry at this time because he is overseeing the building project and the well being of the YES Children. Over the course of months as we have been in the US trying to establish our ministry we have lost footing. Though we were sending the funds things were not being done. Yves realized he needed to be there to lead. This is a great sacrifice for us, but one we feel necassary and exemplifies our committment to this work God wants us to do. We are excited about carrying out this “REST OF OUR LIVES JOURNEY”.

If you feel led to help us in any way, please feel free to contact us. We cannot do this work alone. Thank you Creation Church, John and Brenda and Homebound Missions for your support and encouragement. We are forever grateful.

Missionary Yves Riche returned to Liberia from the USA on July 6, 2011. The Y.E.S Ministry in Liberia was very happy and began praising and honoring God for his return. The welcome team headed by Evangelist and Gospel Artist, Sister Baindu K. Browne, gave Yves a rousing Holy Ghost welcome.

Yves has been very busy. First he checked on the construction site( the home of the YES Children’s Ministry) being built. Tree stumps had started to grow into the building and clean up began right away. A section of the wall was found to be cracked and building materials had been stolen from the property. Yves was saddened to see that there was so much disrepair in such a short amount of time, and it confirmed to him his need to be there on sight to oversee construction and the care of the children.

For sometime we have felt great urgency to get back to Liberia. Our hearts are where God has called us in Liberia and we are diligently working towards getting back as soon as possible. Yves is already there and I am trusting in God’s provision so that I can return soon, meanwhile I am working to set up the children’s sponsorship program and other details of the ministry.

The children are all excited because they know we are continueing to ask God to help us to complete the building so that they can have a place to sleep (dormitory) and a school. I am very happy that they do somehow understand that Yves and I are not the ones who will complete the building or buildings, but that God (Jehovah Jireh) will do it by touching the hearts of others who have the passion for helping disadvantaged children.

Anyway, Yves began working on cleaning the tree stumps around the building as they have grown everywhere. Yves also informed me about the food challenge; what I mean is the daily purchasing of food inorder to feed the children, morning and evening.
